CHRIS APLIN : TABS Trustee

Chris has lived in Swindon since leaving the RAF 47 years ago. He joined WH Smith where he worked in a number of computer/computer programming roles. He took voluntary redundancy in 2002 and set up his own wedding photography business before retiring.

The past

Chris met Rachel in 2017 and was invited to accompany her as photographer on the TABS trip of that year, and also made the trip the following year. He was amazed at the dedication of the staff and the enthusiasm of the children to be at school. He also accompanied Ellen and Jenny on the trip in 2022, the first since the pandemic.

Clive’s future

Chris is very honoured to be accepted as a trustee, and to play part in continuing the legacy of Rachel.
