Chapter 1 helping the homeless with TABS International
Chapter 1 is a charity working with people who are homeless and in need. TABS International is very grateful for the links it has with the organisation and all the support offered by Chapter 1. Staff support volunteers who have been selected to travel to Kenya with all their arrangements.
Other fundraising Events
The Grange School Warmley support another of our partner schools in Kayole, Nairobi. The school donat- ed its previous sports kit for the keen sporting pupils in Kayole and were handed over at a wonderfully vibrant school assembly.
Cream Tea at Grange Cottages
Grange Cottages cream tea is becoming a summer perennial and takes place this year on Saturday August 3rd. Home made cakes, the sale of Traidcraft goods, second hand books and other items for sale all help raise funds. Thanks to friends and neighbours who make scones and cakes, help to serve teas and donate items.
We are hoping this coming year to raise funds through some significant grant applications as we develop social enterprise activity in Kenya to support the project.
